A big catalog, published and kept current.

  • Products. Publishes with title, price, photos, categories and your description template.
  • Price and stock. Updates only the products that changed after each supplier file.
  • Out of stock. Takes products off sale when the supplier runs out and puts them back when stock returns.
  • Categories. Builds and uses your category tree.
  • Orders. Imports orders, cancellations and refunds, and adds tracking to each order.
  • No duplicates. Checks your existing products before publishing.

Permissions and data

What Syncetix can see and do in your store

WooCommerce keys are either read only or read/write. Syncetix needs read/write, because it publishes products and adds tracking. This is what it does with that access.

Reads

  • Products, prices, stock and categories
  • Orders, with the customer's name, email and shipping address needed to fulfil them
  • Refunds and cancellations
  • WooPayments disputes and transactions, if you use WooPayments

Changes

  • Creates products you publish from Syncetix
  • Updates price, stock and status, and moves products to draft when out of stock
  • Creates product categories from your category tree
  • Adds tracking details to orders

Never

  • Deletes your products
  • Sees card numbers (WooCommerce never shares them)
  • Touches your themes, plugins, pages or WordPress users
  • Changes your store settings
Setup

About five minutes.

  1. 1
    In WordPress: WooCommerce, Settings, Advanced, REST API

    Add a key, give it a name like "Syncetix", and set permissions to Read/Write.

    In Syncetix: Settings, Sales Channels, Add WooCommerce

    Paste your store address and the two key values.

  3. 3
    Done

    Syncetix tests the connection and starts reading your products and orders.

    To disconnect

    Revoke the key in the same WooCommerce screen. Access stops immediately.
